As we renew our
understandings of the ancient texts, and sacred books of knowledge from around
the world. We are quickly moving into expanded and although subtle in character,
much broader and unlimited understanding of our universe, and the creative force
that enables all life to be expressed in perfection. We are rekindling within our consciousness the ancient
understandings of the Five Elemental forces that harmonize life, which in an age
where we are expecting the expectancy of life to become longer, we are seeking
ways to rejuvenate, reenergize, and enhance our life experience.
Sonic
frequency may well be one of the most vital of the elemental forces in the
Universe. The rhythm of the Universe was understood by the ancient wisdom
keepers to be like the ebb and flow of the tide, a constant expansion and
contraction, much like a heartbeat. We
are speaking about knowledge that was and is understood and practiced by many
ancient cultures the erythematic and constant expansion and contraction of the
life force energies. This is particularly true in the Native and Meso American Cultures of the
Americas, where the heart beat is the foundation of many of their ceremonial
dances and ceremonies.
The sound of the heartbeat radiates throughout every cell of the body and
is a rhythm with the body. A rhythm, such as a heartbeat and the pulse, is made
up of oscillations which can be measured on medical instruments, as well as
through Chinese pulse diagnosis. These rhythms produce electromagnetic waves --
frequencies which are stored in the body's fluids and in every cell's memory.
Each sell having a consciousness and intelligence that although separate are
part of the whole, which in harmony with each 0other act as one essence of
expression.
Traditional
Chinese Medical (TCM) views Earth and
the human body in terms of the five elements of creation, which are fire, earth,
metal, water, and wood. Each of the five elements is associated with particular
acupuncture meridians and organ systems that energetically interact within the
body according to the Law of the Five Elements and its cycles of energy flow.
In
addition to each element being linked to a particular organ system, it also has
a particular musical note associated with it. The five musical notes of the Five
Element System comprise of a pentatonic scale that has been used in China as a
basis of musical composition and improvisation. Melodies with emphasis on
particular elemental notes have been developed in China to stimulate healing of
the various organ systems of the body.
As we
find ourselves entering into this
21st Century, decipherments of the ancient texts, and our abilities
to understand languages and mathematical calculations that have been lost to us
for centuries also enables us to rediscover ancient secrets some of the most
fascinating forms of therapy, which included -- sound therapy. Every sound and
musical note produces a numerical frequency called hertz, (Hz). (One hertz = a
unit of frequency -- waves equal to one cycle per second, discovered by German
Physicist H. Hertz, 1857-1894)
We are the Children of Mother Earth-
As a species we possess many similarities to her.
In physical terms, each numerical frequency possesses a color and sound
simultaneously. Every organ and gland responds to frequencies of
sound, color, and homeopathic remedies. Some of our bodily functions actually
have similarities to the planet Earth. For example, the Earth turns 1 degree
every 4 minutes, which is the same as our heartbeat to breath
ratio -- 4 pulse beats per breath. In further exploration, the rotation of the
Earth, once every 14 hours, corresponds to the numerical hertz frequency of the
musical note G and its octaves, which in turn corresponds to the frequency of
the color orange-red, and this in turn corresponds to the cell's DNA resonance
at a wavelength of 351/702 Nanometers. (One nanometer is one billionth of a
meter.)
During the last half of
the 20th Century, scientific research has indicated that different
octaves of notes have a variety of emotional and physiological effects. We find
for instance that the musical note G and its octaves
promote physical growth, enhance the memory, and produce emotional enthusiasm
for life, which could come from its ability to re-balance the cellular DNA/RNA.
There are sounds in
nature here on Earth, what the mystics have referred to as the Symphony of Life.
As well, there are sounds
produced in the Great Void of the Cosmos itself caused by
solar wind and meteorites hurling through the cosmos at fantastic speeds,
often redefining physics itself in our present understandings.
In
the ancient understandings, they knew that they knew these sounds occur
naturally throughout our universe the sounds were known as the HU. The sounds that comprised the
HU,
were understood and as well utilized by the ancients providing them with a
musical phenomenon called of the ‘Music of the Spheres’, or if you will the
‘Sounds of Creation.’ For
centuries these tones were lost to mankind, recent discoveries and translations
of ancient texts, have brought them to the modern world again.
As an example: In Five Element Theory, the liver meridian and organ are
associated with the element wood. To assist in healing an individual who has a
liver disease, such as hepatitis, you would utilize "Wood Music" to
help balance the element wood in the body. The wood music may stimulate balanced
flow of energy in the liver meridians that feed nutritional Qi (energy) to the
liver organ.
Healing
with musical compositions based on the energy systems of ancient Chinese
medicine is one of the many varied approaches to healing with sound. It is a
unique example of ancient healing principles merging with new vibrational
concepts to provide yet another sound healing system.
Today through modern technology such as an
oscilloscope, we are able to measure the wavelength of the sounds of
whales, dolphins,
and a vast myriad of birds and insects for that matter; as well as the elements
themselves. Although humans primarily live on air, water, and food; they are
also affected and nourished by light. The
very thought we hold in our mind, is transmitted via Light energy. Light is a frequency of vibrating energy that intermingles with other
life energies.
The
Ancient Masters tell us that thought creates vibration, which sets forth a
frequency, which results in a tone (sound), which has an equal frequency in the
light wave spectrum, thus to our vision they create color. When all of these
elements coagulate and descend down through the ‘Light Spectrum,” they slow
down in vibration and create what we call manifested matter. This same frequency
which at certain intervals the interaction can create Geometric shapes, which
have the ability to interact with our cells and even specific organs. As
well, color has a profound effect upon our emotional and mental bodies, and the
resulting feelings of calm, excitement, depression, and happiness are
experienced as a result, and as well we transmit the corresponding colors in the
‘Human aura that surrounds us. This aura, or corona can be easily detected in

common language alludes to many references associated with color and mood such
as, "Blue Indigo", "feeling blue", "bright as a
rainbow", "red with anger", “having a gray day,” "green
with envy", and "black as the night," etc.
Sound frequencies when
directed and orchestrated into mathematical sequences, is understood by us as
the modality of music. Music is a
universal language as well possibly as a universal
language that our body understands regardless of our cultural upbringing, and
differences. Our bodies and our
organs are able to absorb sound easily and almost effortlessly. Each moment we are receiving and reacting to various wavelengths of sonic
frequencies that move through our
